How to get your significant other to stop playing WoW (World of Warcraft)

It is hard enough for someone to break their own WoW addiction, but it is even harder for someone else to break someone's addiction. WoW, aka world of warcraft, is played by a massive amount of people. People can talk to others and gather together to defeat people. However the real war is the war of getting our loved ones off the game forever.
Step 1
  First you need to tell them how you feel. That you really hate them playing the game. That you wish they would stop. However you need to be sure to give them reasons why you want them to stop, and why you don't like them playing it. This will more than likely not get them off but it will let them realize your feelings. It is not going to be easy, for you or your WoW player.

Step 2
  Try to compromise by making deals. They are more than likely not going to get off for free. Take something that you like to do and put it on the table. For example, If you stop playing WoW, I will stop playing the Sims. Also, instead of you both completely giving up something, you can limit it them both.

Step 3There are certain parts in the game that take up more time and require more attention from the player than others. If a player just goes around doing quests they can usually stop playing at any moment. They can just get up and leave the computer for an hour or two and come back and they are fine. However, raids take up a lot of time and require full concentration. A raid is when a large group of players go after a boss. Try to get them to only do quests, or at least only do the raids when you are not around.

Step 4Get them to play a different online game. This is what my husband did. He loved WoW, but he knew I hated him playing it. So he found a different online game, EVE. He still plays it about an hour two, usually each night, but he can usually leave the computer at anytime. It requires less attention. He can also make his character basically a to-do-list, so when he logs off it is still doing things.
